Northeast Early College High School / International High School
Northeast Early College High School and International High School are co-located and will receive a Phase 1 (of 3-4) modernization as part of the 2022 Bond. The project design is anticipated to begin in fall 2023 and open to students in spring 2028. The Campus Architectural Team, composed of campus staff, parents and community members, will work with the district and project team to determine the scope of the modernization in order to best meet the needs of the students, staff and communities of Northeast and International.
Northeast and International will also receive a secure entry vestibule and improvements to campus systems including, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing repairs as well as a school mental health center and athletic field/locker room upgrades.

Ongoing Activities:
- Central Plant upgrades and related mechanical-system improvements are underway.
- Underground hydronic piping is being installed to support updated heating and cooling systems.
- Campus utility and drainage improvements are continuing in several areas.
- Roofing repairs and parapet-wall work are underway to address existing conditions and support upcoming renovation work.
Upcoming Activities:
- Continue summer infrastructure, utility, and roofing work across campus.
- Advance Central Plant improvements and coordinate required shutdowns and temporary cooling measures.
- Finalize updated design packages and pricing for the Old Mall renovation and future campus work.
- Continue evaluating construction phasing and early-access opportunities for portions of the athletic building while minimizing impacts to campus operations and events.
