The Original L.C. Anderson Alumni Association are honoring the legacy of the campus this Black History Month by giving tours of the Yellow Jacket Conference Center, built inside the modernized Eastside Early College High School at the Original L.C. Anderson campus. 

2022 Bond Construction Kick-Off

Thank you for your support in 2023! Over the last year a lot of work has gone into the 2022 Bond projects and we’re wrapping up the year on a high note. On Dec. 12, we hosted the construction kick-off for Odom Elementary School — the first major school renovation as part of the 2022 Bond.

Austin ISD becomes first Texas district to get two AAA bond ratings

On Oct. 14, Austin Independent School District received a AAA bond rating by the bond rating agency KBRA, making the central Texas ISD the first in Texas to receive two AAA ratings.

Board Approves Worker Protections Resolution for All Bond Projects

On September 29, the Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved the Worker Protections Resolution which aims to be one of the strongest labor standards in Texas.
